The Coalition Building Program is an initiative by InterAct that aims to unite peacebuilding organizations and shared society groups in a collective effort to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a political agreement. This program fosters collaboration and strategic alliances among various stakeholders to promote peace, security, and self-determination for both Israelis and Palestinians. By partnering with the "It's Time" initiative, which includes 50 peacebuilding and shared society organizations, as well as other organizations, the Coalition Building Program seeks to harness collective determination and courage to bring about lasting peace.

 

Objectives:

• Unite Peacebuilding Efforts: Foster collaboration and strategic alliances among peacebuilding organizations and shared society groups to create a unified front for ending the conflict.

• Promote Political Agreements: Advocate for a political resolution that ensures self-determination and secure lives for both Israelis and Palestinians.

• Raise Awareness: Increase public awareness of the importance of peace and the urgent need for a political agreement through joint campaigns and educational initiatives.

• Support Trauma Recovery: Provide support and resources for individuals and communities affected by the conflict, promoting healing and resilience.

• Empower Local Initiatives: Strengthen local peacebuilding efforts and initiatives by providing resources, training, and support to grassroots organizations.

 

Achievements:

In 2024, the Coalition Building Program partnered with the "It's Time" initiative who successfully united over 50 organizations to work collaboratively towards ending the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The program organized multiple joint campaigns, raising public awareness about the importance of a political agreement and the need for peace. Additionally, the program supported trauma recovery efforts by providing resources and mental health services to communities affected by the conflict. The Coalition Building Program also empowered local initiatives by offering training and support to grassroots organizations, enhancing their capacity to contribute to peacebuilding efforts. These achievements have significantly contributed to fostering a collective determination to end the conflict and promote a lasting peace.
